TS_GoldSettlement

TS_GoldSettlement plots the price levels that institutions — not retail traders — use to anchor the gold market. Every day, gold has three reference prices that move real money: the COMEX futures settlement, the LBMA morning (AM) fix, and the LBMA afternoon (PM) fix. This indicator draws all three on your chart, surrounds the settlement with configurable percentage bands, and tracks where price sits relative to them in a live on-chart panel.

These are the levels where ETFs value their holdings, refiners price physical metal, funds benchmark performance, and options settle. Price gravitates toward them, defends them, and reacts sharply when they break — making them some of the highest-quality reference levels available on a gold chart.

What it plots

• COMEX settlement line — reconstructed as a true volume-weighted average of the official 13:29–13:30 ET settlement window, using real exchange volume from your GC/MGC feed.
• Percentage variation bands — configurable step and count (default 0.5% out to ±5%), a structural map of how far price has stretched from the day's anchor.
• LBMA AM & PM Fix lines — the two London bullion-auction benchmarks (10:30 and 15:00 London), independently toggleable, giving you the complete institutional reference map alongside the COMEX settlement.

Built for real trading conditions

Yesterday's settlement carries forward automatically until today's prints, so you always have a reference from the first bar of the session. A manual override lets you type the exact published settlement if you prefer it to the calculated VWAP. The statistics panel can be positioned in any chart corner, so it never collides with your other TraderSuite indicators.
